Stop the Bleed Training for Businesses & Groups
Practical Bleeding Control Training for Your Team
Severe bleeding can become life-threatening within minutes, making immediate action before EMS arrives especially important. Our Stop the Bleed training gives employees, teachers, church members, and other participants practical experience recognizing and controlling serious bleeding.
This beginner-friendly course combines straightforward instruction with hands-on practice using the same types of bleeding-control equipment your team may need during a real emergency.
Participants learn how to:
- Recognize life-threatening bleeding
- Apply direct pressure effectively
- Properly apply a tourniquet
- Pack wounds and use hemostatic gauze
- Use pressure bandages
- Choose the appropriate bleeding-control method for the situation
Participants completing the course receive an American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed® course certificate.
Why Host This Training?
Serious bleeding can happen after workplace accidents, falls, vehicle incidents, or other unexpected emergencies. Stop the Bleed training gives members of your organization practical skills they can use immediately while waiting for EMS to arrive.
Private group training allows your team to practice these skills together and become familiar with tourniquets, wound-packing materials, and other bleeding-control equipment before they are needed in an emergency.

Add CPR and AED Training
Organizations can also add Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) CPR and AED training to their Stop the Bleed workshop. This gives your group hands-on practice responding to both severe bleeding and sudden cardiac emergencies in a single training session.
Participants learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR, and safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED). ECSI CPR and AED certification is available for participants completing the applicable course requirements.
CPR and AED training can be included when requesting your group quote, allowing us to build the course around your available time, group size, and training needs.
Your Instructor
Stop the Bleed, CPR, and AED courses are led by Robert Klenka, a nationally and Texas-certified EMT and experienced medical training instructor who has taught more than 100 classes to over 1,000 students.
Robert is a certified Bleeding Control (B-Con) instructor and Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) instructor. Fort Worth Combatives is also a Tactical Medical Solutions® Associate Training Center and a C-TECC Recognized Educational Partner.
